Is there still no solution for having just the fog lights on w/o headlights on?

Cool Is there still no solution for having just the fog lights on w/o headlights on?

Sorry if I missed it, but I did a search and did not find anything.

I would love to do this mod.

There is no DIY for this, everything is so intertwined with the ECU *computer whatever* that its impossible for a simple 'bridge'. BUT the guys in asia CAN... so... logicly we should be able to too... but no, we cant.

*this is a guess*
You'll probally have to run 2 separate sets of fogs, on in the housing with a direct connect type setup and the stock ones tucked up somewhere to fool the computer...

Why not find the wires on the switch and use a relay to wire them directly to the fogs?! the switch will become a on/off regardless of headlamp status.

Just make sure your power source is coming from an ignition hot, not a constant hot, and your wires are the right gage and of a good quality.

Car wouldn't pass NJ inspection.Don't know about any other states.
I believe the law in NJ is Fog lights on with low beams only.

Hehe very easy to disconnect the wires BEFORE you take it in to inspection, cars dont need to have fogs afterall

BUT... that is besides the point of trying to figure out how to get them on in the first place
