I get mine done at oakhusrt ray catena in nj and it costs me $60. Yes its expensive but not too bad considering that it is a luxury car.

i think lexus keeps a log of when you brung your car in for oil changes and stuff.. if you decided to trade your car in later on down the road.. they will check this and if you have been bringing it to the dealer and keeping the car maintained.. they will give you more for your trade in.

It cost me $44.00 to do an oil change myself using 6-1/2 quarts of Mobil-1 5W20 (Walmart) and a factory Toyota filter element, and 20 minutes of my time.

I could see where a $50 oil change at a dealer would be a bargain, but, I am sure that is using only dino oil.

$50 for oil/filter change at Lexus of Austin. They offer to wash the car, but I tell them to leave their mitts off of it. Takes about an hour, during which I'll walk around and check their stock, surf the internet, and have a muffin or two. That's a fair price for me. And dino oil is just fine.

$39.95 is what I charge for Oil and Filter change (Not the Minor Service). I think the minor service is like $106ish. Not needed for the 18in cars with the staggered wheels...

*Oh yeah, it's my first post. I joined just so I could post, I'm a service writer at Nalley Lexus in Smyrna, GA. I'll probably do more lurking though, lol...

an oil change takes 1hr less to go through the entire process from valet-techs-car wash-valet....

a straight LOF, Lube/oil/filter, is $55 including Tax, and still get car wash/bagel/cookies/coffee....and done within 1 hr or less...so no need to give out a loaner, cuz everyone can wait a damn freakin hour out of their day!

we dont give out loaners for just oil changes, we reserve them for larger services like 15k/30k/60k/90k. or alignments/tires/state inspections...UNLESS you own an LS460L or LS600HL, we give out loaners for whatever they need!!

Carlsbad lexus charges ~$60 for JUST the oil change. You also get the car wash and a loaner/shuttle service.
