New to Lexus
Hi:
I'm new to the brand and never had a JD before. Today I got deliver of my 08 250 IS 6spd.
Haven't been able to sleep I spent the time browsing the site and U seems to be a really nice group. This is my seventh car and is the first non German or Swedish. I'm really excited to start modified it. It was the value that lures me to the brand (value not price)
Could some one give me heads up on what brands for aftermarket and internet site to buy? I'm in Puerto Rico and Lexus is not so popular in the aftermarket scene, no that I know of.

First Welcome to CL and congrads on your new car!!
for the mods i would just look under the forums here to find out what specifically you are looking to do and get ideas from what others have or have not done to there cars. there is also a vendor section where you will receive discounts on certian items!
post some pics of your car for everyone to see!

Well, I'm happy to hear that you are ready for some aftermarket products to make your IS "your own."
You can find a lot of great deals with our sponsors via the ClubLexus Vendor Marketplace Forum. You can get great deals on wheels, OEM parts, special Group Buys, and the such.
Good luck and keep us informed of your progress. AND POST PICS OF YOUR BABY!!!

Well once our other PR members here discover this post im sure they will be more than willing to help you out. The photos that they post with those old skool colonial type buildings you have are some of the most beautiful here.

You guys really make a new comer feel @ home.
I really want to get close to 250 bhp (not whp, well probably less 230) that’s the ball park figure. I’m getting my first impressions on the car and so far there are good, not as quiet and fast as the Volvo but overall I think I made a good deal.
