Sad to see it go...
After owner my IS350 a little over a year, I've hesitantly decided I had to replace it. I know I will be flamed for the car I replaced it with, but I have my reasons.
The other day I picked up a 2007 Audi A3 S-line. Performance wise, it just doesn't compare. Even with the 3.2 engine, the contrast is stark. On the other hand, I do have to say that the DSG transmission (a true semi-automatic transmission) is insanely fun. The reason I made the switch is that I'm a snowboarder, and after a year of juggling between the IS350 and a Denali for the mountain, I realized it was more logical to get an AWD as my daily driver. Why not the S4 you ask? I really wanted a wagon for room (folding seats, etc), and the newest generation S4 Avants are still in the 50K+ range. After a chip, intake, exhaust, etc, I should be able to get low 300HP out of it.
That being said, I already miss my IS350 quite a bit (I sold it to my dad so luckily I can steal it from him on occasion). Thanks to all of you for keeping me informed on all the latest, and answering the questions I had!!

Congrats on your new ride. I don't think you will get flamed. We all appreciate cars. Don't forget to share pics of the new one.

Well, here's a little bit of hate....
I hope you leased the A3, because even with a one year handicap, I suspect the Lexus will still be around long after the Audi is gone.
Still, an in-warranty A3 is a really nice car. Didn't like the feel of the brakes, but that's about it.
