Default FOB Battery

Just found out that both of my spare key doesnt work anymore but the FOB that I have been using for the past 2 years is still running strong.

Hartwan the key your using will of course still work cuz your so ELECTRIFYING!!!

Course when i saw the title of this post my first thought, you bought a JDM car battery like the JP one

simple. take out your key shank and on your transmitter youll see a tiny insert thats about 3cm x 1cm. insert your shank into that slot and twist in any direction to open your transmitter. inside you should see the CR1632 battery. swap it out and snap the case back together, then youre good to go

Actually I only have one spare key. The other one belongs to a GS.

Thanks!

....... I just see the chip and not the battery though. I assume it's on the other side.....

yeah you can remove the buttons pad and the chip.. battery is on the other side..
