"Holygeewilikers Batman! Good thing your mom took your car. Your car might have saved her life!" Seriously, glad that your mom is safe and hopefully the insurance company will pay you some good $$$. Good luck!

I had more damage to the right front then that plus some to the left and they didn't total mine. Not yet anyways (they are still working on it).

Well. Here in Iclenad we have different laws. I am just nor ready to be driving a 6 million isl. kr. car and have it being repaired after a accident. What is it so special about my GRILLE that you want it so badly. Isnt it the same as yours? I havent seen any difference.

Sorry to hear about this, but I will be surprised if your wishes for a cash settlement instead of a repaired car will come true. That just isn't the way it works. Nobody wants to drive a repaired car, but we don't have a choice in it sometimes. The fact that it is a relatively expensive car only makes it MORE likely that they will try to fix it.

Oh man... sorry to hear the bad news...

Glad everyone is OK!!!

First look shows that the car has about $10k USD Damage..
If there is slight frame damage I'm sure it could be pulled..

But i agree with you.. its "damaged goods" and it will never be the same..

Looks to me that rain or wet or icy conditions played a role in this accident as well.. The rotors were already glazed with rust when you took the pics...?

I took the pic one day later after the accident. The yaris to the right on the pictures is the yaris that drove in front of the Lexus.

Frame damage from running over a curb would most probably be cosmetic only, not structural. They will probably just need to replace some wheels and control arms
