I installed it in my 06 IS350 and it works fine. Its pretty much a universal kit as long as your radio has the SAT button it will work. Its the same kit for the camry, the 09 corollas with SAT buttons and other toyotas or lexus that has the SAT button.

I was quoted $499 for the kit and the install at my dealership (Rallye Lexus in Glen Cove, NY). When I asked how much the install itself would cost, I was told $175!!! For them to open up the center console and directly plug it in?!?
I can buy the kit online for $209.10 from Sewell Lexus ($246 minus 15% off promotion code), and have a local car audio installer put it in...I'm thinking it would be no more than $80 or so...

I also have inquired a few other dealers in the NYC area to see if any of them would do it for the $299 MSRP, per the .pdf file...

I too, have gotten the AUX TSIB done on my '08 IS, and the sound is a lot better. With that being said, I want the ability to not have to look down on my iPod to select a song or even advance a track.
I currently have a Proclip mount on the right side of the center console, and it's a pain in the *** to slide my iPod out, store it out of view in the center dash, and remount it every single time I step in and out of my car. Not to mention the wires. Also, not that it's major inconvenience, but when I receive a call, the iPod doesn't stop playing...

Managed to find two dealerships in the NY/NJ area that would do it for a reasonable price:
Lexus of Queens in LIC will do it for $310 plus tax, and I have made an appointment for next week.
Warnock Lexus in Livingston, NJ would do it for $300 (but price has to be confirmed).
Maybe if we all bombarded all the Lexus dealers demanding the $299 MSRP price, some will give in? Wishing thinking...
P.S. - Not to hijack the thread, but I've read conflicting information on the other forums that the brake dust TSIB has been released for the 2008 IS. Has anyone seen or heard of that yet?

On another note, maybe you guys who can't find a Lexus stealer in your area who will do it for $300 can try calling Toyota stealers? They should have the kit too, and if I'm not mistaken, it's the same exact unit?
