what happens when a call is placed using bluetooth? Does it pause the iPod? thanks.
If you're playing the iPod and you receive a phone call, the music fades away, the iPod pauses, and you'll hear the ring tone over your car speakers. Finish the call, and the iPod resumes from exactly where you left off. This is how it behaves when using an iPhone. I'm not sure if it does that same thing when using an iPod.

Yes, a list of artists becomes available and you can then use the wheel on the right side of the radio console to scroll through them all.

That's great, especially given that I have an iPhone.
A few more questions. When you list all artists and select one, does it then display all of the albums of that artist? Do I need to press any buttons to "switch" to album mode (such as the DICE unit), or can I immediately select one of the albums of this artist? The same question would then apply to when I select an album. Do I have the ability to immediately select songs from that album without having to press some button to switch modes?
Also, I'm curious about genre browsing? It seems to mention that briefly in the manual, but I'm curious if you can shed some light on this.
This looks to be pretty good, I was up in the air about it but it seems this will definitely beat grabbing my ipod out of the center console and changing songs and putting it back and charging it every couple days! Im not looking forward to installing it though!
How are you guys installing the iPod dock connector cable? I want it to be real nice and clean, so is it possible to have a connector like the oem aux connector?

Terrance had his installed in the cupholder inside the center console beneath the armrest. The kit comes with a grommet, so drill a hole, run the cable through the grommet and reinstall. Very clean. I wanted to put an actual iPod dock in the front cupholder and plug the connector into the dock, so I could just set my iPhone in the dock when I get in the car. I had a hole cut in the front of the cupholder and it actually fit perfectly. However, I discovered that the iPhone dock does not feed audio through the connector - it requires you to use the stereo cable. So, I scrapped that idea and just ran the integration kit cable through the hole already drilled and it works great. I'm still looking to fab up something that would allow me to "dock" it inside the cupholder for easy removal. There's plenty of cable left underneath the console to allow for some creative installs.
