does size matter??
the new C-class has big mirrors, but is masked by the turn signal. the IS just has a tall mirror and a forward shape, making it big.
i got used to it. i love it. and they work great when adjusted properly. if anyone ever makes a CF housing i'll pick that up in a heartbeat.

If you are talking about the side mirrors, they don't really bother me. If you look at the Lexus from the outside it pretty much matches the car. And if you are talking about the rear view mirror I see no problem with them. I wouldn't upgrade the rear view mirror to any aftermarkets due to the feature that is on the rear view. Well.....if you have it installed.

I test rode an 08 BMW 335i Coupe and an 08 Infiniti G37 Coupe last week and after being used to the nice large side view mirrors on my GX470, the ones on those 2 cars seem like midgets. But i guess it fits the overall size of the vehicles.

Lexus designed these big mirrors to compensate for the big blindspot the second gens have. I enjoy the view but they do seem big from the outside. Definitely function over fashion when it comes to safety.
