Yea, these cars sure like to beep. I can't stand the shrill, fast beeping when turning the ignition off with the door open. I would also like to terminate all the seat belt beeps on startup if the belt is not fastened beforehand. I took care of the beeps when you roll faster than 7 or so mph (11 km/hr) with no belt, since I don't like to belt up in my own driveway after checking the mailbox in the evening. I'm only going to the garage for Pete's sake. Gimme a break, Lexus!

Sigh. Going to try and get lexus to turn off the chimes, I hate them.

 

If your door switch looks like this, you can take out the t30 screw and it will disable the switch. That is because it removes the ground.

 

even when I turn mine off it beeps when the door is open??

 

Just close the door and open it again
