i was able to get a 08 is350 with 19600 miles for 31900. it was pretty much fully loaded. included ML, Nav, luxury pack and more. It also came with some 19" rims, spacers and toyo proxes with tons of tread left. But being a pretty much new car, it didn't have the CPO warranty. you can probably get it below 30,000 with out the CPO. they say that tacks on another 2-3 grand or something like that.

badudanboy, you bought my old IS350. LOL

Also, you have full warranty on you wheels and tires through Les Schwab in Bellevue, off 148th near the MS campus.

a year ago, I bought the same car (lexus CPO with winter tires) for $31000.
I'd say definitely bring it down ALOT more!

it was a 2006 btw

I was doing a lot of searching for the last 3 month + looking for ML, Nav, Luxury package (hid, rear sun shade, rain sensing wiper, etc) w/ Starfire pearl or GFM.

For a 2006 is350 w/ about 32000 miles, it is around $27000 +/- 1000.
For a 2007 is350 w/ about 22000 miles, it is around $30000 +/- 1000.

Now the big question is if you can find the color you want. second hand GFM w/ options above is very hard to find. You will see a lot of black/silver/smokey on craigslist.

I finally found a 2007 GFM at $30K w/ 21000 miles 3 weeks ago. If color is not an issue, you should be able to do better.

I would tell the salesman they must have a bunch incompetent salesman if they had 12 serious buyers and none of them could close the deal. If the salesman doesn't appreciate that comment then ask him/her if there is something wrong with car if 12 serious buyers passed on the car? If that doesn't get him/her going then say the car must be priced too high if that many people decided to pass.

I have never put up with that BS which is why I only deal with sales managers. Ultimately the sales manager will decide yes or no on the price so why not eliminate the salesman?

Figure out what you want to pay and make an offer. If they say yes then you/grandma are done. If they say no then you will find out the best you can buy it for then you can make an informed decision.

My 2 cents.

Be careful when you say "loaded". If the dealer says it's loaded, that means it has NAV + ML, Lux/sport package, headlight washers, park assist, and pre-crash system. The difference in price between a base model 350 and a loaded 350 is almost $12,000 when new. I'm always leary when I hear the word "loaded" because in reality, a fully loaded IS350 is very, very rare.

I paid less for mine new (granted I did get the lexus incentive, which I believe expired). Same options except I didn't get the XM radio or upgraded wheels.

Having said all that, I'd say in this economy you should definitely be able to get it under 35k.

Just my opinion.
