The automatic IS350 is faster than both the new manual G35 and manual G37. It's been tested and proven w/ results all over the forums and internet. I've even read posts by members on the G35/G37 forums who stated they can't beat the IS350. The G is still a nice car though.

Looking at not just mag reviews but owner reviews the IS 350 is clearly faster than the G35 and the G37. They are all very swift for entry level luxury cars.

IS owners are in the low 13s with simple mods at the track and no review has gotten faster than R&Ts 0-60 run in 4.9 seconds, which is pretty damn amazing.

As of two weeks ago (see sig), I've owned both... 350 is quicker/faster.

I think he's asking about the 08 G35 sedan.

I think there was a review somewhere and Infiniti as a whole had the best residual values of any make in 2007, so I dont know how much truth there is to this statement... I think 1Sick posted the article in Car Chat but I could be wrong. I will say this though, after two years my g/f's G Coupe only lost $6,300 and a friend lost a little over $7k on his in just over two years. Both were fully loaded with average mileage (~27 and ~29K).

Correct, the new Infiniti's have much better resale value. With the G35, the coupe holds its value very very well, not so the sedan.

I think people still think of the awful resale of past Infiniti's and are not aware the new ones fare better.

Pricing a 2003 Q45, you can get it for the same price as a G35 coupe!

Is the 08 G35 Sedan THAT much faster than the 05 G35 Coupe/Sport-6MT ? Maybe the stopwatches won't support it, but my IS350 feels quite a bit quicker than the Coupe I had...

The new G35 is not quicker at all actually than the old one, and if it is, .1 second here and there. The engine isn't rated much higher and its heavier.

The 3.5 with DI and Dual VVTi is just a beast, an absolute beast of a NA V-6.
