Turbonator = Problem!!! PLEASE HELP
All I have an 07 IS 350 and recently installed the turbonator into my LMS CAI. Now certain dash lights come on: check engine, traction control, and display says check VSC. **see picture below**
I have disconnected the battery and they went away but then after driving for a little while again they have showed up again. Anyone else having this issue???
I dont want to remove the turbonator because it gives the car that extra lil zip. I also took it to the dealer and the code on the engine is reading mass air flow sensor problem. Any ideas on how to keep turbonator and eliminate lights? I thought of trimming some of the turbonator off to allow more air to flow through but didnt want to dice it up till I investigated everything.
Thanks, any help is appreciated.
PS. Anyone know an easy way to reset the system without disconnecting the battery?

Your IS is trying to commit suicide. Take that thing out.
The Turbonator is one of a long line of worthless "vortex" products that add nothing to your car, and drain your wallet. Sorry, but you got ripped off. Do a google search.

I don't know about the IS, but in my RX, there is an EFI fuse in the engine bay fusebox that you can remove for about 10 seconds (key out of ignition) and that will clear the code (assuming something is not permanently fouled up).
I will reserve comments on the turbonator, but can tell you that if that air flow is even slightly off focus on the maf sensor, you are asking for sensor issues.

The codes are because of uneven airflow across the MAF. If you install it after the MAF you will no longer throw codes. Try closer to the throttle body. BTW... this product is useless though. It will increase you intake noise alot. So if your going for a louder intake then you got what you paid for. Good luck. You'll also have to reset your ECU again.

hahaaha...I remember the Slick 50 days....my dad thought that would save the engine on his 1980 Chevy Chevette work car. It blew up that same day after adding it......hahahaha...there were even national chain shops that sold oil change packages with Slick 50.
