Default Hybrid vs Ceramic tint

I did some searches but came up short on this topic. I just bought my IS350 a week ago and I want to tint it. I am going to stay away from dye films, but is there a general opinion on carbon vs. hybrid vs. metallic vs. ceramic tint films?

I have yet to find a discussion comparing and recommending various film types, and I need to know so I can go to the appropriate tint shop. I am in the northern VA area so if anyone has recommendations, let me know.

Carbon would be best from what the tint guy told me when I had asked about tints. He told me due to lexus's built in antennas on the back glass and then using metallic/ceramic can cause interference.

3M has a carbon tint called "color stable" supposedly the best they have so far for cars that have built in antennas.

what you said seems a bit conflicting b/c I thought ceramic was supposed to prevent RF interference, but metallic can cause it. Are there any general opinions on hybrid films?

i'm very happy with my ceramic tint. it's more expensive than the others but it really blocks out the heat and doesn't interfere with the antenna.

Ceramic ftw. It also has the highest heat rejection for a given color.

thats true i have the hybrid by llumar starII.. and im loving it no interfernce on my nav... not sure if metallic is a myth but i just wanted to be safe....check out the website for llumar star..it rejects heat pretty close to ceramic.
uv heat glare
Pinnacle 50 99.5% 43% 44%
Pinnacle 35 99.5% 50% 60%
Pinnacle 15 99.5% 59% 81%

15%hybride= 50 percent for heat rejection
compared to 59 percent...for ceramic..Pinnacle 15..
