350 Wreck
I haven't posted much on here but I lurk plenty.
I was recently in a wreck and just felt like sharing. It happened when I was turning on the access road after exciting the interstate. The exit where it happened is know for having accidents and was actually talking about it with my girlfriend 30 seconds before it happened.
Anyway, I was on the access road and trying to make a right turn. The access road should yield to me, however, they didn't feel like it. As I was turning I got hit in the rear passenger door, which spun me around up onto a curb where I smacked into a transformer. The other car was a late 90's Ford Explorer.
Turns out the lady who was driving had a suspended license and no insurance, they actually took her to jail that night.
So far the damage is up to 22 grand and they will still not total it. Some minor frame damage and replacing pretty much everything in the back half of the car. It's been 6 weeks since the accident and about 3 since the body shop got started. Hopefully I will have it back by the end of January, luckily I've over seas for work and couldn't be driving it anyway.
Everyone was fine except for a couple of bumps and bruises. Thank god for those passenger side airbags or my girl would have hit her head pretty hard.

Thank god for lexus making safe cars. Glad to hear everyone is ok. I would ask for them to salvage it and buy another. looks like the rear arm/axel is messed up. ouch the pain to see another is being a victim.
