Default Question for those of you with AFS...

Do your left and right headlights move out to the side to the same degree, while turning?

im not sure if my right side headlight is jacked up or not, but it can only move out about 1/3 of the degree that the left headlight moves out while turning.

ive just recently noticed this while crusing through some canyons. i was wondering if i should bring it up to the dealer when i take it in for service, or is this normal?

I think one moves more than the other when your in a turn. like if you turn left the right head light will turn more, i have not had any chances to drive on dark poor lighted roads to tell, but just city driving. Im not too sure but it seems ok. others might know, sorry cant be too much help

It is 15 degrees for left turns and 5 degrees for right turns. So, yes, you have approximated it correctly while driving.

You sir, are correct!
It's really helpful having this feature while driving the canyons at night....and kinda cool you can see your headlights move as you are turning.
