Default TPMS on new rims

If I want to put new rims (18x8.5/18x9.5 vs 18x8/18x8.5), can I have the installer transfer the TPMS to the new rims? Do they need to do anything special with the TPMS or should it just work?

Thanks in advance!

just need to make sure the rims are TPMS compatable and you will be just fine. they can transfer them after they remove the tires or you can purchase a new set if you choose to use the stock rims again for any reason.

You may need to get some adapters for the tpms if the rims aren't compatible.
