Ok--I know. This is a "family" website.

But driving today, someone veered over into my lane, and I hit the horn and accidentally activated the voice command button. I just happened to curse "F--k an A". Well, that voice command ZOOMS IN the nav screen.

i am always sweaing at the nav when i am attempting to use the voice commands, cause they never work right @^*&#^(&*#@!!

I hit the horn (hard!) near the voice button--I must have hit it. I've done that before.

I did this the other day in my g/f's car just to see what would happen. I pushed the talk button then when prompted said "Shut the h3ll up." To which she replied, "Now displaying Thai restaurants"... haha I was bored and we were stuck in traffic... haha

Why is it that EVERY current tele-personality (telephone customer service bot) can understand perfectly what I am saying, but my car always tries to point out where the banks are when all I am trying to do is get home?

lol, my friend was messing with the voice recognition in my IS, he tried strip clubs. The gps gave him government offices. We couldnt stop laughing after the result.

I think it's programmed with a sense of humour as I said 'Fxxx Off' and it replied 'Showing all Airport Icons'
...I then said 'Fxxx Me' and the reply was 'Showing all hotel icons'

next time.. hit the voice command button and say IM HUNGRY..and all the restaurants icon will appear

I've done that with automated phone services, but never with the navigation.

I'm bored at work right now so I went out and said a bunch of curse words at my navigation just for "sheets and giggles". LMAO...funny stuff.

how come I can't voice Dial by Number when I'm driving? I say "Dial by Number" and then goes to Number pad (grayed out) and then TALK and it asks to say the numbers and then it repeats the number and says press off hook or talk button which i do but doesn't dial? Is it because I'm driving? if so, that is stupid because I'm using voice commands and not looking at the screen so it should be 'safe.'

While driving the yesterday I was thinking of this thread and tried the following: "I'm sleepy" the nav turned on bus stops, pretty funny. Then I tried "I'm *orny "and it brought up golf courses! I guess it thought I was looking for some outdoor recreation

Try repairing your phone. I had this prob on my sisters RX then i repaired it to the car and it started to work like normal

Also when i curse at the Navi she always says "PARDON"
