Hey guys I am interesting in purchasing a new IS250 manual base model with standard options.
What prices and quotes did you guys receive in the orange county / la area?

On a similar topic, I am looking for an IS350 w/nav. Can I expect to get invoice? Any chance on below invoice? I am in Houston, TX. Any advice for dealerships?

They do discount them much... I got my IS350 from tustin lexus for 500 above invoice with no haggling required... I actually negotiated the price in a matter of seconds on the phone prior to my visit... I asked to speak with the fleet manager over the phone and asked him what was the best price he would give me and he told me he would beat any local dealership so I was happy with 500 over invoice...

Houston, Texas dealers do not discount much. No way you are going to get anywhere near invoice in the Houston area on a 350. Large area, and only four dealers (two owned by the same group) = Minimal price negotiation power. You can try, but be prepared for tough sledding.

I got a price from Sewell Lexus in Dallas for 38226 (about 1000 above kbb invoice- though they claimed it was 500 above what they showed as invoice). I went to Sterling McCall since its close by and even though they had the exact car in stock and I showed them the price quote, they said the best they could do is 39500.
Should I suck it up and go to Dallas, or do you guys think there are better deals out there?

Thanks for the advice everyone. I did e-mail quotes from all four Houston dealers. I said I was looking to buy at close to invoice for an IS350 with MSRP 42780, kbb invoice of 37277. Westside Lexus simply said- "Our market is higher than invoice. Thank you for the opportunity and I wish you the best." The other dealers were about 2-3k above invoice.

Yeah, I know. I would really rather not go to Dallas... but when I saw this: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...&postcount=541, it makes me think about getting the car from Cali and then shipping it or something. It may end up being a wash though.
