In the armrest console, I use a Radio Shack dual 12V outlet adapter that bends 90 deg, so it doesn't interfere with the sliding of the armrest. I route the iPod cable out the back of the console, around the right-side of the driver's seat and it perfectly reaches the ashtray cutout
