Default Transmission whining new IS 350

I just picked up a new IS 350 last week. It seems that the transmission is pretty loud and whines throughout the gears even when warmed up. I also notice a crackling like sound when I first put it into gear. Before I take it to the dealer and hear the typical "we dont hear anything" bs. I am wondering if anyone has noticed this with their IS 350? Thanks

i havent heard that but have noticed that with mine. i am having trans problems more and more and have only 14k miles on an 07. its the least amount of driving i have done in years. but what i get is when the car is in gear it wants to take off on its own??? if i pop the car back in neutral my rpms are not reving high? once i put it back in gear the rpm's shoot up to close to 2?? so what gives. its not only cold starts or when the car is cold? i do live in chicago so we are pretty cold right now but this started months back when it was in the 60's. i need to go into the dealer but figure it wont do this when its there.

Is this the engine or transmission? Our engines have almost an electric sound at low gear high rpm.

Its defiantly not the engine I only hear it when Its in gear. The crackling sound happens only for a few seconds when I first put it in drive and start to accelerate and not when its stopped at a light, only from park to drive. Im in florida and its pretty warm here. The car only has 650 miles on it.....
