Default traction control, on or off?

so reading up on some previous posts i noticed people were running better 1/4 times with etc off. now what about traction control? i know with it on you wont have wheel spin but you do lose power. and with it off you dont lose your power but risk a lower time on your 1/4? what kind of results are people getting at the track on vs off?

It's pretty much standard practice to run with the traction control off. Having the traction control on will most definitely slow your 1/4 mile run times, because the ECU's priority will be to ensure traction, not maximum acceleration. I don't know of anyone who runs with it on.
