Are you guys using some secret language to get a Toyota dealer to do routine maintenance? I've called 3-4 Toyota dealers near me to get a quote for the routine service, and all of them told me that they don't do work on Lexuses (is that a word? or should it be Lexi?) since they don't have the right parts in stock.

I had Toyota do my trany flush with T-IV on my Gen 1 IS, but I will only go to Lexus for Coolant, Warrenty, and other probelms. Most dealers never perform the inspection, they are known to never remove the dust covers, and they make the car sit in the wash line with the porters to make you think you are getting real work done. I caught MgGrath Lexus of Westmont, IL doing this, and they were embarrased. I also knew someone who worked there and they said that they are all trained to lie to the customer. NEVER get the brake flush. They basically suck the fluid out of the master cylinder and replace for $120. You can do that yourself for $5 in 5 minutes time tops. They NEVER blead each caliper seperately. It is best to go to a place where you can watch them perform your service if possible. One Toyota delaership wanted to charge my sister $250 for a 45 or 50k service and all it consisted of was an oil change, (so called inspection), and ac filter change. I bought her AC filter for $35 and put it in myself in 3 minutes. This is where the dealers make their money.
