Default Cigarrette lighter

Is anyone's cigarrette lighter not working? i don't smoke... i use it mainly for car chargers and stuff like that... the 12v under the arm rest still works for me but if anyone uses it.....i'm sure knows how annoying it is to have your armrest raised at a 70 degree angle while driving.

it used to work... just stopped working all of a sudden... i checked all the fuses and they all are working properly.... only fuse box i checked was the one above the driver's side headlight... unless there's another?

i would check the owner's manual and worst case scenario take it to the dealer but was hoping someone had a quick fix.... went to pepboys by the way... they don't have our fuses pre cut? i think our size fuse is a mini but all of them have the extended prongs... which is not a big deal... i can cut them but... it's still a little bit inconvenient.

There's also a fuse box under the steering wheel that has all your accessory fuses. You may have to unscrew and remove a panel to get to it, I can't remember. That is where I hardwired my radar detector. Hope that helps.

There are two fuse boxes; one under the dash and one under the hood. Are you sure you found the right fuse? I'm not sure where it is.

the same happened to me for hte cigeratte lighter that's near the radio console.
man, the lexus dealership told me that the reason is because i'm using all kinds of plugs in there...i use it for my radar, ipod charger, phone charger...(switching them back and forth) and they said that i did it so much the two prongs inside was pushed in.......make sense? NO.

But at least they fixed it for me for free cuz it's under warranty. =)
