For the two years the IS has been out I have not once seen a commercial for this car here in NY and I watch TV alot. I bet they run one like every min. in cali.

I'm in Jersey,I've seen a IS 250AWD TV ad number of times that Lincoln(Ford) stole.
A IS 250 AWD driving on metal *****.Lincoln is using the same ball thing with their MKS going up an incline showing their AWD system.

 

pulling up to an intersection with 4 IS's around is a commercial in and of itself here in L.A.

 

By NY, you mean NYC channels? Not sure how you missed them. I've seen at least three different commercials for the second generation IS. One of those -- the one where they drop an IS from a helicopter while another speeds below it -- I've seen dozens of times.

 

Haha thats great, I am still laughing. I will be in Sotuhern Cali in april for the first time in two years so I can't wait to see some IS's driving around.

I've seen some 2IS commercials, and yes mainly the heli drop one. Not much else, maybe cause i play video games more than i watch television lol.

there's tons now. used to be 1 visible a week. now i see 4-7 on every drive which averages 10 miles.

 

No, I am not driving cross country I would prob kill my self, but I am flying in and can't wait to go to some shops out there. There is no such thing of car shops in New York, all they have is ppl who do tint and stereo systems. I would also like to take a ride to Corona to go to Eibach. How far is that from L.A.?

Yeah here in NY I see will a couple of IS's and I mean a couple and have yet to see one hooked up. So I am really excited and can't wait to get started. Hopefully the car comes from the port to the dealership this week, I am going to take pics with all the stickers and paper on it.

 

where are you in ny? I only see some nice IS's around (2 that are nicely modified). I have a exhaust in mine and thats about it lol.

I know that last year duing the football playoffs, there were a TON of Lexus commercials--and I saw IS commercials constantly--the one with the IS that was dropped from a plane. Not as much since then.

 

They ran a IS commercial every two seconds here in NYC during the US open, but after that only one here and there.

 

Youtube has a cool 2GenIS commercial from Japan that shows a valet guy getting the key and dreaming. In Chicago, I have seen the AWD ball bearing one in a wharehouse that looks like bad CGI (LOL)!!!
