remove the headliner. i think there's a one nut that's holding the fin antenna. DON'T JUST PULL, YOU WILL DO A LOT OF DAMAGE.

Like ISBU said you have to remove the headliner. but i dont wanna do it blind eye. Itl be great if there was a DIY.

i pulled the headliner back a bit.. then i saw like a rectangled or squared metal piece holding the sharkfin antenna.. i didnt know how to remove it at all.. but then again i only looked for less then a minute.

^^ i have an 06 so i can't do a diy for you guys. the metal piece that you saw is the nut that you have to loosen to remove the antenna.

anyone? i was thinking about using the vaistech sharkfin adapater for sat radio but need to figure out how to remove the fin. someone should give tommy a call, im sure he's done a removal before.

Is this the tool to remove the nut after the headliner is pulled back?

Are you talking about the Sirius adapter? I went to Tommy to have it done and he just threaded the wire through the car.

This thread is not a poll of who likes the shark fin or not. I love it too, but i want to take it off to vinyl my roof, then put it back on.
