a reputable wheel shop can repaint the wheel for you. It cost me $150.00

haha there will never be an 'exactly like' when talking of paint. even its the same factory paint code. each batch will be slightly different. Most good paint guys will mix their own to match it. but for a wheel if its not that bad you can try a two stage, black base with a 'smoke' clear coat. It might be hard but a wheel guy should be able to do something.

I don't have experience painting rims but it is true that the same color paint will be slightly different from batch to batch. That is why if you repaint a car door you also blend the paint into the adjacent panel and gradually feather it out so you can't see any difference in the shade of the paint. Might have to do the same thing on a rim if only painting part of it - blend a few inches beyond the repair area.

I need to repaint a spoke on an IS X50 silver rim. Any suggestions what paint to use? Any off the shelf paint available? What is a good clear coat paint to spray over the repair?

I know this is an older post, but I had very bad curb rash all over one of my front rims (18" liquid graphite) and I had the dealer fix it for $150 even. They have another company contracted to come out and do the repair. But it looks brand spankin new and $150 was very reasonable I thought. I guess what I am saying is check with your dealer if you need a repair.
