For that price I would definitely be interested.

You probably have too much spare money to spend. In my eyes they are not that different from the regular IS's. Frankly, I wouldn't notice the difference if I see one on the street. I understand why those 5th gen Accord owners switched their taillights to Altezza ones because the difference was so apparent, but this?

The stock 2is headlights with AFS are around $900 each so don't hold your breath on that price.

Haha, those aren't even available for the LS. The LS460 guys wanted to swap these 600hL headlights into their cars (since the housing is the same size) and it's not even close to a simple swap. It's kind of like putting OEM AFS HID's in the 2IS - while it's technically possible, it's not worth the several thousand dollars it will cost.

I guarantee that if the price was lower the "opinions" of the IS-F tails would be different. Did you see how people started jumping when someone above posted they got the set for $230?

$230 for a pair is about the right price. $540 that's too much....

Well, it's one thing to say that you don't aesthetically like them. It's a completely different issue to say that you think they're overpriced and/or you can't afford them.

True...

I like them a lot and I can afford them at both prices..

But I would rather pay a more sensible price.

Personally I think the IS-F tail lights are a waste of money as they are ascetically plain and ugly. IMO Redouts look way better.

Unfortunately, I don't think the price that rocampo is quoting is possible. I just got a quote from a friend of mine that works at my local Lexus dealer and he said the price of $540 is an excellent price. He can get them for a little cheaper but with sales tax, it would be a little bit more than $540. He also said that this price would not decrease even if the IS-F was available in the U.S. right now. Not really good news at all.

I personally don't care for the red outs even though many people here have them on their car. The red outs would be a last resort if I don't bite the bullet and get the IS-F tailights. I just don't feel like a Lexus (even the inexpensive one I have) should have a piece of red film on the tailight. Seems like a cheap way of doing things.

HAHAHAHA!!! Thanks Ben, it's been a long week at work, and I needed a good laugh. This page should explain my title a bit better.
