I can tell that there is a difference, but neither really stands out in my mind as being better. I definitely don't think anyone on the street would ever notice the difference unless they were informed about it first, or it was parked next to another 2IS with original lamps.

That is a hilalrious response, Taadaa!!! I fell off my chair. I personally can't help but notice the ugly amber on all cars. Whenever i see them on the road, I think of either Rvinyl or how clear tails, sidemarkers, or headlight assemblies make the car look so much better and newer. All that amber reminds me of the late 80's and how car companies loved to make cars look like construction vehicles.

Only a selected few will notice this mod...
See when I do mods on my car (and this is just me) I like to keep the OEM look.

oh man, thats freakin funny, thats exactly what you should do, im really not understanding how (if you owned a ISX50) you woudnt notice if someone was rolling with is-f corner lights, or the true IS-F car.... interesting. also regarding the picture with the two housings, do you just unplug a wire and put in the new light housing...

I also think it's not worth it.. to go from amber signals to whites? Nobody can tell the difference probably not even the casual IS owner unless you point it out. If I can trade in my stockers for an exchange for 200 something I might consider it.

Sometimes something so simple makes a BIG difference. On my 2000 stang, I changed my all red tails to the cobra ones (which have amber turn signals in the lower corners). IMO, they looked MUCH better than stock (which everyone and their mom had), and I got A LOT of complements on them at car shows.
Obviously, they were probably 95% mustang owners, but it never fails:
Change something to LOOK factory but isn't and it will probably get a lot more complements than something that doesn't look factory, but gets a lot of looks (ie- big spoilers on civics )
