Parking Light change to LED
Hey guys,
after a couple hours of searching the forums, I think I have my answer. I just wanted to do a final check with you guys before making my purchase, just in case, i'm kind of a sketch case.
So i want to change the parking lights (the damn little lights that are yellow and make my nice HID's look funny). So here is what i think is the correct bulb, and from what i've read, others have found these bulbs to produce the best light.

2 WHITE SMT 9 LED PARKING LIGHT BULBS 194 158 168 2825
sounds good right? Its just that in the manual it says that the bulb size is 168 and the guys on forums say 198...anyone care to explain that to me?
And i've read the installation DIYs here too, i will do this myself when it comes iin. Thanks guy!!
oh and PS, i just got my redouts and blue foglight overlays, gonna go do them right now

What guys say 198??? Parking lite DIY is in the manual. Yes that lite will work, just make sure you have strips of electrical tape cut n ready in case the bulb fits loose. Just PM me for LED questions in the future, much easier for you.

go turn your engine on and turn on your light.... what hes talking about are the two lil bulbs in on the top side of the high beam.. they are on when your lights are on... Those bulbs give a yellowish color when HIDs are on.. hes changing those 2 little bulbs so he can have cooler looking headlights.

Just an FYI:
If you want a perfect color match to the stock HIDs, I would go with a non-LED bulb. If you like a white with a tinge of blue, go with the LED.
Good brands you can find pictures of are Polarg and MTEC (just search CL). They are also not going to break the way LEDs do by partially burning out or flickering. Mine came with a lifetime warranty (eBay reseller) where they will replace any burnt out bulb for only the cost of shipping. I've had mine in for about 6 months without any problem, my LEDs started breaking within 1 month (YMMV of course).

I went ahead and ordered them already...give it a shot and see how it goes. I'm mostly worried about putting the bad boys in...i SUCK when it comes to anything with cars...anything. But i've read a lot and i've looked around under the hood multiple times...i'll get some help and do it up! I just hope I dont mess around with the nice seal the boys put in for my HID kit. hehe.
