Default The stock 18inch wheels not as good as they look!!!!!!!




The car owner report he was driving 110km/h when he/she hit the side of road (highway) and he/she stay that the IS didn't eject none of the Airbags!!!!

This certainly is not an indication of the quality of the wheel. We don't even know what happened.

I agreed what you are saying but the thing is how could those wheels damaged so badly and the body just has that little damages compare to the wheels...?

I can understand why the air bags didnt go off. there is no damage to the door panels. But the wheels DAMN

I hit a deer with a '07 Camry in the front in just about the same area.In fact about 6 inches more toward the middle and the airbags didn't go off.The sensors are more toward the middle of the front bumper area.

That should buff out with some rubbing compound.

this happened to a friend of mines Explorer about 5 yrs ago. They ran over a curbed/raised part of the highway and tried to jerk it back on the roadway.....many times....and it chewed the wheels and broke them down like that. That person was an idiot and did that themselves. No wheel could take that punishment. I told my friends the same thing.

This will be much easier to repair than it would have been if the wheels were stronger. I'm glad to see this!
