Illuminated Scuff Plates in a base '06 250AWD
Just read this from Sewell's site.
*For 2006 model years - Illuminated Door Sill upgrade only applies to IS models equipped with Sport or Luxury Package.
I know it's been done here.Is it a tough install?
With the 15% off,I'm thinking about buying the white lit set regardless of how the wife feels about it.
If it's not a tough install.

Nevermind.
Finally found some info.
Looks pretty much like a pain to do on an '06 without any upgrade package.

It is not a pain at all. Keep in mind I dont do any electrical experience. I have an 06 IS350 with the premium package. I ordered the white LSP. And it took me only 30 mins to install them. I was nervous at first but it's all good. Just follow the DIY from that link you posted. Good luck!

I'm not too swift with electrical wires and stuff.
