Default Remote Start OK?

I was in a car shop with my brother as he was looking into a few things for his 4runner. He is gettin a Viper 791XV Alarm with Remote Start installed. So out of curiosity i asked the guys about remote starts on the IS, and i was told they put that exact Viper system in 3 IS's w.o. a problem, but i've read on these forums that its been a hassle. What do you guys think? worth a shot?

I remember someone on the forum did it. One thing though, if you use the remote start, then you can't go up and grab on the door handles to open the door. Instead, you would have to unlock it with the aftermarket remote. Just depends on how you install it. I wish we could the OEM would work.
