lol, we all don't have time to spend sitting at lexus getting the car washed or spending time washing the car every other day like some of you

I get mine washed once every 1-2 months (sometimes 3 months). I just don't have the time to do it nor do I want to spend the free time I have wasting it washing a car. But don't get me wrong, i love my car and i take care of it... just washing it ALL the time is not a priority to me.

I wipe or wash every week. Garaged at home and work and always clean.

Before I got the TSB brake pads for 2nd IS it was more like twice a week wash or wipe. The only difficulty in cleaning the OEM 18'' wheels to me is the very corners of each spoke. Got to really twist and turn your head to get all the dirt. Now, I have a routine system early every Saturday morning. It is a must.

I washed my previous car (SUV) probably 3 times in 3 years. But I wash my IS once every other week or so.

And a black one at that

That is bad to hear, the Lexus High Friction brake pads will produce a lot of dust, that is a given. if you do not clean them weekly, they will have the dust burn into the paint on the rims and you will get massive pitting. I reccomend cleaning them very good with a good environmental cleaner for rims and then had waxing them with Zymol. I had the OEM 10 spoke as well, and it does require more effort due to the front brake pads and the more difficulty to clean those small crevices. Those OEM rims are a ton of money for replacement, so take care of them. I reccomend changeing them with a 5 spoke with no crevices. Maybe you can put some 3 spoke wishbones on their (LOL). Just kidding!!!

You could try the mother's powerball. Buy one ball for washing, one ball for waxing.

I can already hear the double entendres

Do the brake dust TSB, and you'll have much less dust to deal with. And don't complain, at least you don't have these to clean.............

I have the Oxo Wheel and Tire Brush and use Blackfire wheel cleaner.

Wet, spray, wait 30 seconds, scrub, blast with water.

You CAN let it drip/air dry, but I'm too OCD for that anyways.

I do 1500 in 3 weeks or less.
