Cold air in my face. Is this acceptable?

i havethe opposite issue.
when driving i keep at 70 or 72F.
i get too much warm air in my face, it is annoying.
my feet are actually kind of cold. i would love to keep it at 74 so my feet would be comfortable but at that temeprature i get some much hot air in my face im am extremely uncomfortable. most systems have cooler air going to the top than bottom this system seems to have temeperatures the same.
when directed to the footwell it should go only there.
i read in the past about a denso system in explorers (i believe denso makes the lexus one as well) that when the cain temperature reached the setpoint outside air, uncooled and unheated, was allowed to enter the cabin via the defroster vents to help minimize window fogging.

come on! everyone in IL drives with the moonroof open doesnt matter the temp!! i will tilt it up at times even when its cold to have more fresh air in the car. i cant stand when its really hot from the heater and all stuffy.
if you do recirculate the air you will take care of the "fresh" cold air you are feeling coming into the car. this is problem more noticable in IL with the colder temps right now. yes its better IMO to have the fresh air for several reasons and the one most important to me is the air getting dry from the heat. But my wife has mentioned she feels it more in this car then any other on how it almost feels like its blowing on you.

The recirculation button should definitely do the trick. My old accord was the same way, if you had the circulation option turned off then you'd feel a slight amount of outside air coming into the cabin.

You may be feeling " Radinat cooling " . Once the window reaches a certain temp it will start to feel like it has a draft. This is the transfer of heat being removed from the air. It can feel like a draft. This effect is one of the reasons dual pain windows were developed. Mercedes has clued in on this and have dual glass on most of their high-end cars. I think the LS460 has it too. Just another opinion

I noticed when the sunroof is in the tilt position I can feel some outside air coming in through the door speaker. Close the sunroof and the draft stops. At first I just thought it was a vortex created by the sunroof opening. But the more I checked it seemed like it was coming in through the actual door speaker.
I have not had the car very long, only about four months and I have not been driving it that much either. But I was curious if anyone else has noticed this??
