so last night after gettin off of work. i was taking 85N to merge onto 280N. it started raining earlier during the day and was coming down pretty hard when it happened.. around 1130pm. as i came off the ramp... i hit a flooded area.. my car hydroplaned sideways at about 45 degrees.. then as i tried to correct it hoping my ABS would kick in... i started to do 360's. completed 2 full 360's and a half. car finally stopped facing the wrong direction on the freeway. luckily no cars were there when it did happen.. as my car finally stopped.. i saw 3 sets of headlights coming towards me.. they switched lanes and honked at me... probably thinking i was retarded or something. haha. the funny part was.. i was on the phone with my girl.. on bluetooth.. as i was spinning out.. i told her.. oh ****.. im spinning out right now.. her reply.. shut up.. quit Fing around. haha. glad i got lucky.

**01/25/08** OK.. im switchin back to my WORKS... forget this whole run on stock rims due to rainy season. this time my girl was driving my car and she drives very conservatively when she drives my car... she spun out on the freeway just now also. maybe its cause im running 2 differnt brand tires, maybe she hydroplanned and it was out of her hands, or maybe the stupid Fing car is cursed. i dont know but i'd rather total a car and a set of rims than someone get hurt.. sorry.. sorta pissed.. just ranting.

deng that is luck as hell...shoot i saw some lady comming head on towards me the other day she went on the wrong on ramp soo there are drivers who drive on the wrong side.

Honestly...imagine you were actually one of those 3 drivers, and you see a car facing you on the highway. Thats is EXACTLY what my reaction would be. Is this guy a ******* retard!? All in all good thing nothing happened!

Lucky it was at 11:30pm when there isn't that much traffic. If it was at 5pm, I'm pretty sure you would be posting a "Do you think it's totalled?" thread. That merger tends to get busy and it was about two weeks ago when I saw a truck rearended a Civic.

scary, last time i did a 360 was in my dads 5series, got the tires changed the following day. glad u didnt get hurt.

Holy hell man...that had to have some serious pucker factor. Your girls reaction was some funny stuff tho. Glad the IS is ok...and more importantly you....sans a need for a new pair of drawers Im sure.

Even with AWD you can hydroplane, glad you made it out fine. Speed, tire style/condition, and amount of water on the road make for this terrible phenominan.
