Does you nav unit cut off the audio filename way too short?
i have a issue with my mp3 discs where on the nav display, the audio file name or song title is cut off really short. ltll only show like the band name and a couple letters of the song title.
there is much more room across the screen to display this info, and was wondering if anyone has this problem also?

it appears that the text that gets displayed in the main "Audio" screen is the file name of the song (truncated), and not really info from id3v* ... or at least that's what i've noticed with my sample cdrw mp3 burns.
If you have been able to get the song and artist to scroll, let us know your mp3 file burn settings....

I had never really paid attention to it. I did noticed i had a couple of cd's that truncated to 8.1 but that is because the way they were encoded. I'll test it out and see, but sounds like you have already checked it.
these days i am pretty much all aux in anyways. I do like having that changer though
