Default thinking of jumping ship to Audi TT...

my 350 has speed yes, but I'm so bored with this sedan....I think the TT looks great + tons more aggressive and sporty...thoughts?

I wouldn't get red...but...

I say go for it. The first gen TT was okay, but this one is stunning. I see some guy in a white one occasionally and it turns my head every time.

Stick with the coupe. I think the conv will ruin the look.

Love it...think Audi is a great car and i miss my S4 i traded out of for the IS. Considering another Audi myself and getting rid of the TSX so my wife can take over the IS.

What is the engine that comes with the TT S? is it still the 3.2 or did the fit that v8 in there

Had a TT S-line, it was o.k. DSG was definetly better than the IS manu-matic whatever it is. I don't know about the new one speed wise, Mine was an '05, horsepower and quattro got boring in a hurry. But it was a great looking car, performance did not live up to it's looks.

I'm not crazy about the re-style, strays too much from the original concept, but it follows the new corporate direction for the front end styling.
Interior is definetly a step in a better direction though.

Hey- it's your money, do what YOU want to do!

quote "This latest rendering is of the TT-S, which gets a more potent version of the current 2.0L TFSI engine. Expect to see final power levels around the 270hp (201kW) mark. Torque should be about 350Nm (258lb-ft).

In addition to the uprated engine, the TT-S will be differentiated from the standard models thanks to the new front bumper and larger intakes, quad exhaust pipes, the new LED equipped headlights as well as a stiffer suspension set-up and upgraded brakes."

from motorauthority.com

NOTE - my wife REALLY loves the TT in any style..the 04 I had had was basically her car to drive.

Audis have numerous mechanical problems far more than even bmw... I rather get a 335i coupe or z4m if I were you...

The new TT is gorgeous. I love it but it is an Audi so go into it with both eyes open, a backup ride and good towing coverage.

I'm one of the few, apparently, that think the new one stands head and shoulders above the faux retro tackiness of the previous generation. Much more aggressive. Still very popular with women drivers though, I've seen close to a dozen on the road thus far and only two had men driving them. The TT looks so much better than the R8, at least to my eye, that it is kind of sad considering how amazing the Gallardo (lambo that the R8 is loosely base on ) looks.

I have to agree that it doesn't look much like a chick car anymore (squashed VW beetle).

I actually love the new design, but am still leary about overall functionality.

Lexus = daily driver. Audi = weekend warrior. I guess it depends on your needs...

Much better cars out there in the class of the TT (which is usually at the bottom of comparisons).

Yes, and it is rumored to mark the return of the blown (as in turbocharged) Audi inline 5 cylinder.
