If you want to run a IS250 disk wheel on a 350, you are going to have to spacer it until it does not rub the brake caliper, and you better insure your calipers have thick fresh pads for max installed height, or at next brake pad change, you are in trouble.

After spacers, you then will have to settle for the offest that results from the wheel build + spacers, which could be rub-city.

It sounds like you want to buy cheap wheels with cool lips, and have them just work. On IS350's, there aren't many wheels like that available.

Why not buy Enkei GTC-01's or something and do it right?

thanks Lama for the comment, but what about the settling for the offset you are talking about?

Im not buying wheels with cool lips, actually it measures 1.5 inch only...

Hey, if a wheel is a +35 and has no lip (1.5"), I dont see why it wouldnt work on a 350 brake. The problem is is that most of the cheaper wheels are Taiwan or China cast wheels, and the center face, or disk, is built so extra thick just to make up for the lack in quality, and that you will run into disk to caliper clearance problems. The guys on the BMW boards who run the Wheelmax wheels seem to like them, so give it a shot. If you get a +35 wheel, and have to space it 10mm out, you are going to have to do some major fender work (the wheel will now be a +25), or live with rubs unless you don't lower the car, or run a 225 or 215 tire. Why have big wheels with a tire like a 215 that wants to let the rim lip smack the ground? This is a Lexus you know. Now if you don't care about rubs, and want to take the time to cure them, a +25 to +30 wheel looks bad ***. Just think what do you want? Do you want to do all the work to make it run right, or do you want to bolt-on and go?

If you want to bolt-on and go, you need a +35 maximum with a JDM spec Hi-Disk rating.

Thanks Lama for the advice. How much fender work does it need to be done? Do you have links to the bmw forum on their +35 wheels??

thanks once again

Hi disk = IS350 front

Med disk = IS250 Front

Hi, Med or Low disk = IS250 & 350 rear (Low disk has biggest lip)
