Very nice color, and it would look great on the IS. Toyota released a color similar to this on the 1994 Supra. Most people call it MSB or Monkey **** Brown!!!

This is a fun thread, but I'm sensing a ton of "grass is greener on the other side" mentality going on here. Just because it's a factory color not available, thus never seen, doesn't automatically mean it looks good, or more importantly, will sell.

For example, if that desert sage color wasn't available, but offered on a GS or LS, people would claim it looks great, but as seen by the actual sales, nobody would buy it.

What we need are credible photoshops...

I dunno about the factory colors, bring back some of the colors from the 1IS - the pale yellow and the fire engine red. I might be alone in this, but the fire engine red would have been my first choice.

^^^Those are some pretty good renditions. Those colors are quite darker in person, so it can be decieving...

Yeah on the photoshop effort, on the car with those colors for me... I can't imagine anybody buying a purple IS.

Yes, the Twilight Amethyst looks black when it's in the shade. I've yet to see a really good pic that will completely do it justice compared to seeing it in person.
