I would like Noble Spinel Mica for the 2IS also, although Matador Red is already my favorite paint for the 2IS now. But I prefer the darker Noble Spinel Mica with less of an orange hue.

im likin those colors especially the Verdigris Mica. The Sc430 color looks like the Nissan Brickyard red.

It's actually darker, a lot richer & has more depth than the Nissan Brickyard Red.

Black Opal would be nice too. It's a dark bluish purple, wheras the Twilight Amethyst Pearl is a dark reddish purple :

It's now exclusive to the LS600hL, but I wish it's available for the LS460L too, it will be my choice for sure. I think it would be a great color for the IS also.

Those aren't my favorite colors, but you can't argue with more variety. It would be pretty cool if they offered some special colors at the factory (for a small fee, of course).

All of Lexus' competitors, ie BMW, MB and Audi, are getting criticized these days too for a boring palette of colors. People are complaining on the BMW 1 series forums of boring colors, especially since the 1 series is supposed to appeal to a younger crowd. Just seems to be the flavor now ...... dark, boring colors. You'd think Lexus could add a new color every model year, just to freshen things up. Say, drop Desert Sage and replace with Verdigris Mica.

I've always loved the Amethyst Pearl.... and the odds them actually offering that color on the IS is likely nil.

I actually prefer the Tiger Eye Mica of the SC430. It's a dark-chocolate brown, so it's sleeker. Less "geriatric"...
