Has anyone tried to change the orange bulb out of there and replace it with another color? I wanted to change it to white.

i dont think you can change the bulb on those, its all inclosed, the amber color is there is pretty nice IMO

You can heat it up to loosen the adhesive and then pry it open and then reseal it.

I was going to do that. I'm probably going to order another set of JDM side markers and use on as a test.

And also, do i need to buy a certain harness to connect it to the sidemarker?

The IS looks much better streamlined without sidemarkers, you don't wan't to make the car look like a 99-2003 Infinitif G20 now (LOL)!!!

Doesn’t federal law require that front side lighting must be amber and rear side lighting red? Or is that of little concern to us?

I really don't care about the law..8000k and above headlights are illegal but look at how many of us got them. An intake is not street legal, yet we all have them. Don't speak of the law if you are breaking them yourself.

And putting on sidemarkers will make the IS look JDM and not anything else.

No word on changing bulbs huh?

And just to be precise, “we all” do not have illegal air intakes. Why, some of us pitiful, preachy boy scouts actually do obey the law and wouldn’t think of adding all this crap just to look cool.

You may have missed my point. igofast said he didn’t care about the law. He didn’t specify what law he doesn’t care about. I find it hard to distinguish what laws are OK to break and which ones should be obeyed. How does one justify breaking the law regarding illegal mods, but not other laws? Again, where do you draw the line?
