Hey Paul, nice pics - I didn't take the IS out today. I got home last night uneventfully using the Dunlop 3Ds (awesome btw). Today I took my wife's car - RX400h with Pirelli Scorpion ice/snow tires. My IS with winter tires are great, but an SUV with 4 brand new snow tires - you just can't beat it. Plus, my wife's car has those rubber mats that soak up a gallon of water while mine's the regular carpeted ones.
Yeah, I usually try to take my wife's 4Runner in a weather like this but I couldn't yesterday because she was at work. She has Pirelli Scorpions on there as well (although not the ice/show version) and that thing will go over anything. When we were trying to make a path for my IS we were throwing snow where her car was parked and she got out later without even having to slow down. I really like that 4Runner.... and, unlike my IS, it will pull my boat
So we got a little bit of snow here in the last 24 hrs. Here are a couple of pictures of me trying to get into the garage after getting home in the morning.
I only got stuck twice
If you have pictures of your IS having fun in the snow post them here.
Sweet pics! My IS is in storage for the winter, so luckily I am driving the RX300. Talk about fun! Although the 2 hour commute into the city was not. Do you guys think the Dunlops are better than the Blizzak LM-25s? I eventually will have to get winter tires.

i hear the dunlops are better for our area. i have the LM25s and in mild snow i must say they where not very good?? but the last 2 days in this snow my car did great? i found out that that LM25s are more of an all season where only the top layer is soft then once you wear that its basically and all season tire? im not tire expert but this is what i was told. i have a few friends that have dunlops on there bmw's and they say they are better then the blizzacks.

Who says RWD and SNOW dont MIX!!! Nice Pics! I had fun driving yesterday to see my car driving with no problems. If i hadnt put the snow tires on as the last years i would have worked from home!
You all beat me to the Chicagoland blizzard pics (LOL). Thanks for posting and to all of CL members who live in the southern US of Hawaii, be happy. It was a train wreck here with dangerous roads. My stability was kicking in like an upset stomach after a mexican buffet and I was driving slow.
