I was making a right hand turn out of a Rite Aid parking lot onto a main road late this afternoon. A fifty-year-old woman driving a Volvo was in front of me attempting to do the same. She pulled out and saw a car approaching from the left, and shifted into reverse to avoid it. She had no idea I was behind her, and slammed into me.

The driver's side of my front bumper took the hit. My X-Package lip is disconnected from the bumper in one spot, and there are a few long horizontal cracks in the bumper itself. There's a long black scuff where her bumper hit mine and some paint missing, so the entire thing will likely need to be repainted.

If she were driving an SUV it would have been much worse, as my hood and/or headlight probably would've taken the hit as well. She was extremely apologetic and admitted fault, so off to the body shop I go.
