You used to own an Audi and your questioning Toyota/Lexus workmanship

It's a car, thousands of moving parts, things come loose. I'm guessing you paid somebody else to make that rolling money pit S4 a "stage III" if you don't understand that automobiles require constant maintenance no matter how mundane.

At 9K miles yes I do.
I know automobiles require rountine maintenance but c'mon who would go around to check under the seats for loose screws as part of their routine maintenance. I shouldnt have to and especially when I just hit 9K on the odo and the car is 7 months old. Since this is a common problem for many 04-07 lexus models and it is posted on the TSIB I'm sure Lexus knows its a faulty design of the seat track and floor pan on their part.

Ok, I have to chime in here... Some are questioning workmanship... The little pegs that the dealer has to grind off in the TSB are there for installation ease at the factory. They come with a little rubber piece around them. But of course that tears after a few times the car is sat in, and just makes more and more noise as time goes by. I had mine removed even though the noise wasn't there. I was bored, and the dealer wasn't busy at the time.
