just tapp into the wires. that isnt hard. probably feeding the wire thru the firewall will take more time. i have done this with custom stereo installs in other cars in the past. i would say this is about 2.5 hours DIY install job!

Could be a generic cover pic too.

Puddle light question email asnswer to me.

"yes, this cover will not change anything of the stock mirror except a additional signal light. thank you"

You only need to remove the cover and the puddle lights remain on the mirror."

Well it seems the puddle lights aren't an issue and these covers will work.

i got a response back that the bulbs are LEDS rather than bulbs... i guess for everyone that changed their turn signal bulb to white inside their headlight is going to change it back to yellow to match?
