Garmin: $200
lexus: $2,600
Garmin: dozens of voices
Lexus: 3 voices
Garmin: dozens of text languages
Lexus: 3 text languages
Garmin: says street names
Lexus: says names of some major highways
Garmin: can be used 100% of the time
Lexus: can only be used while stopped
OK, the lexus is integrated and has a bigger screen and backup camera, but for 10 times the price you think lexus could have thrown in a little more. the fact that i cant use it while driving (nor can a passenger) is what bothers me the most.
lexus: $2,600

Garmin: doesn’t really fit anywhere on the dash, has that stick-on look
Lexus: built into the dash
Garmin: Should be removed when parked to prevent theft
Lexus: not a problem
Garmin: small, hard to read screen
Lexus: large screen with more detail
Garmin: no backup camera
Lexus: has backup camera
Garmin: no access to various vehicle functions
Lexus: access to audio, climate, maintenance, etc.
Garmin: no vehicle movement sensor when GPS signal lost
Lexus: Keeps tracking until signal returns
Garmin: can be used 100% of the time
Lexus: avoids killing yourself at 70mph while punching in letters
