It really depends on what you prefer. Some people like 6000k because its white and still provides great light output. While the 8000k has a blue tint to it but reduces light output. Some say 8000k output is fine for them. Search on the forums for some pics. Most seem to go w/6000k though. I got mines from here .http://www.kbcarstuff.com/?referer=xd

do you get a 6000/8000?
are you change the light bulb yourself?

I've got a brand new set of Xenondepot 6000K bulbs for sale, in case you're interested.

I went with 8000k. Install wasn't difficult at all. Do a search, I believe there's a thread on how to remove the bulbs.

wait why are you using D4S for your headlights? Shouldn't you use the H11?

H11 is the bulb you use if your vehicle did not come with HIDs. D4s are the OEM HIDs used

If you have factory HID, I would not touch them at all, you are wasting money!!! The light output and visualization is great as is.

Some of us with factory HID don't like the color... I had the factory HID and upgraded the D4S bulbs to the 8000k bulbs because I like the color of the 8000k bulbs

I guess it is a matter of preferance. I noticed you had a staggered rim pattern on an AWD car (Asanti 19" AF-120's 19x8.5 19x9.5
), you may be asking for trouble down the road.
