Default 07' IS350 w/10,000 miles..trade in worth?

Been thinking lately of trading in for a SUV "X5". I could def use the space in the rear especially when taking in-laws around town.

I havent stopped at either dealership to get estimates but i figure if I know a ballpark amount then I could go from there.

My guess is $30,000-32,000??

Isn't that what the trunks for?

I would say you could do a little better than that.

Yes, in-laws in the trunk all the way (LOL). You will take too big of a hit trading it in. Once your X5 is at the dealer under constant sensor repair, you will regret having gotten rid of the IS350 IMO.

thats pretty good since people are getting low 30's OTD for is250.
so guessimate for is350 = $32,000-33,000?

In the Chicagoland and/or midwest area, the used ISX50 has a big demand and even Carmax does not have many if any on their lots. You should have no problem getting low $30's. Sell it outright, not to a dealer. I would much rather have your IS350 than an X%.

Trade would be about 28k. If you get more, they are adding that to the price of the new car. If you really wanna know the bottom line...negotiate the price of the new car FIRST. Then add the trade...you will get the real numbers...If you go in with the trade, they will play the new purchase against the trade and it'll be hard for you to really know how much you are getting for the trade and how much the new car is costing. They MAY say we are giving you 30k for your car...and then adding that 2K difference to the new car purchase....

wow, a dollar a mile depreciation, we're talking GM type loss there. Glad I got the 250, not only did I save about $6-7k on the front end, guess I'll get a higher percentage back on resale. That's a lot of extra cash just to win the daily stoplight wars going into work and back.

Your IS250 will depreciate FASTER....FYI trade in value on your IS250 is 23k....so $6-7k less than a IS350.
