I found this and was wondering if it is as good or will work at all compared to the Sik cable. It has a longer wire which I like.

you should just do it right the first time and get a vaistech kit

 

try this ...about $7 shipped to your door. I have one and it works great.
Only downside is white. Wire is about 3 feet long.

That cable appears to have been designed for kenwood units... although it probably would work with our AUX port as long as the USB cable does not have to be plugged in.

 

That WILL NOT work. It is for iPod ready kenwood units...it plugs into the back of the Kenwood. It has NO line out. The Jack you see is for the video out of the iPod.

This set uo works great for me. Cable running from dock connector to charger, & from charger to aux input in center console. Only one cable to deal with on the ipod. Great sound. Charger set up is low profile so no issues fitting in the box. Easy solution.

 

Here's an all-in-one solution.....charges, plays music, and cradles it for easy viewing/access. I think this is the next best solution to the Vaistech since u can still view ur ipod hands free.

Since this plugs to the front cigarrete lighter, I am planning on removing the console and run the aux wire to armrest for a more stealth install.
